We did it!!!! Sacred Heart School are the overall winners of the Mayo Association Dublin 2021 competition. It was a fiercely competitive debate that showcased excellent research, heady exchanges and practiced rhetoric. We are thrilled to bits to be bringing the trophy back to the SHS as this was our first time entering. Our team of TYs really showed what they are capable of with their calm, measured performances. Special mention of course to our two girls of the hour, our speakers Meadbh Harrison and Ellen Lonergan, who now find themselves veritable experts in nuclear energy! As always the back room team deserves much praise for holding the ship steady at all times.
