Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme (LCVP)

The Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme (LCVP) is a two-year course that integrates traditional academic subjects with vocational and practical skills. Students must take a minimum of five Leaving Certificate subjects. They are also required to complete two Link Modules: Enterprise Education and Preparation for the World of Work, which focus on building career-related skills.

Following recent changes, students do not need to study Irish or meet specific subject combinations to participate. This provides flexibility, allowing students to choose subjects that align with their career interests without additional language or subject grouping requirements.
